Jared Starr has been acting in independent film and video for over a decade. Along with his brother Adam and their friend Justin Karoway-Waterhouse, Jared is a founding member of the independent film production company Zone 5 Pictures, which over the years has turned out a variety of zany comedy shorts, movies, and television shows.

Born in Massachusetts, Jared has also lived in Washington, DC and New York. After graduating from George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science, Jared decided to follow his passion for the performing arts and enrolled in the Neighborhood Playhouse school of theatre in New York. Upon completion of his studies there, Jared moved back to central Massachusetts and founded Smart Choices Kids, an innovative children's fairytale DVD production company.
