Candy O’Terry is a singer, public speaker, actress and on air personality at Magic 106.7, WMJX, Boston. Heard workdays in Afternoon Drive with Dan Justin, she has been with the station since 1991. Candy has interviewed hundreds of singers and musicians for her daily feature Magic Backstage. She is the creator and co-host of Exceptional Women, winner of 29 local and national awards for excellence in women’s programming, including a record breaking 15 Gracie Allen Awards. Candy is a Boston College graduate who has performed with the Boston Pops at Symphony Hall and has released 3 songs for airplay including The Gift and Valentine with Grammy nominee Jim Brickman and You Are The Only One with rocker Charlie Farren. She is the radio spokesperson for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and serves on the board of the Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame. Candy is the President of the American Women in Radio & Television/New England. Candy is a member of the cast of the Emmy Award winning talent show Community Auditions on WBZ and TV 38. She is playing the role of Candace Malone in the new feature film CO2.
